The original River Table design was created by Greg Klassen in 2011. A growing family of River Tables have found homes all over the world, and have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Sunset Magazine, Luxe Magazine, and various other media.
Created as a one-of-a-kind cabinet, this piece reflects my belief that the furniture we use every day should be every bit as meaningful as the art we choose to live with. Behind its sculptural doors, generous storage provides space for the objects of daily life, while the flowing river across the front brings a quiet sense of landscape into the home.
Exceptional walnut was carefully selected for its uncommon width, allowing each door to be crafted from a single board and preserving the uninterrupted flow of the grain. Inside, a live-edge shelf adjusts to accommodate a variety of objects while echoing the natural forms found within the doors.

A single crosscut of spalted maple preserves the tree's natural shape, revealing the growth rings, spalting, and live edge that make every tree unique. Rather than imposing a new form, this table celebrates the character that was already there.
The clean, geometric black walnut base provides a quiet counterpoint to the organic top, creating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Built for everyday use and finished with a durable clear protective finish, this is a table meant to be gathered around and enjoyed for years to come.

This wall piece explores the drama of the Pacific coastline. A highly figured burl slab forms the shoreline, its live edge twisting into a quiet inlet.
The textured edge reads almost like submerged coral, creating a sense of depth beneath the waterline, while the infinity edge of the glass invites the eye to wander outward beyond the frame.

This small wall-hanging continues an ongoing exploration of river forms at an intimate scale. A branching glass channel moves through figured wood, suggesting a confluence where currents meet and diverge. Solid wood and hand-shaped glass create depth and quiet movement within a restrained composition. River Study No. 3 is meant to be experienced up close, where texture and light reveal subtle variation.

This piece brings back memories of long drives along one of my favorite coastal roads. It lives somewhere between sculpture and shadowbox — a live-edge slab preserving the tree’s natural contour, with softly colored glass suggesting a quiet shoreline beside it.
Rich burl figure and weathered edge textures contrast with the clean geometry of the frame, giving the piece both warmth and structure. Its depth allows light and shadow to shift throughout the day, subtly changing the experience of it.

The Tree Table explores the dynamic relationship between nature and the built word. The fluid, organic form of the western red cedar tree sits within the rectilinear, cantilevered open cabinet constructed from figured Oregon black walnut. Warm wood grain and textures abound in this sculptural, functional piece. Equally at home against a wall, behind a sofa or in the middle of a room - the back is as beautiful as the front and no detail was overlooked on this exceptional piece.

The Grand Watershed wall-hanging is a miniature world—an abstract archipelago carved from highly figured wood and surrounded by swirling, glassy blues.
